Description

A good quality Victorian walnut writing slope. The top with an oblong canted cornered vacant engravers plate with matching escutcheon, and bound with brass corners and straps. The writing boards still retain the original tooled skiver and lifting tabs in very good condition, but with the inevitable split in the centre. Concealed cover for two secret drawers. Ideal gift condition.

No inkwells but for an extra £30 we can supply a reproduction pair of brass and glass screw topped inkwells on request.
