Unusual Victorian Skeleton Clock With Music Box

An unusual Victorian 8 day single fusee skeleton clock on the original birds eye maple base with internal music box c.1885. The shaped brass frame with four spoke gears and fretted silvered dial; Roman numerals and blued steel hands. Cable drive to the fusee and anchor escapement. Sat on a birds eye maple base with internal Swiss two tune music box wound by an external pull cord, with the original hand blown dome in perfect condition. Small proportion and presented in excellent condition, fully serviced and working. Measures 9.5'' wide x 5.5'' deep at the base x 15'' high to top of the dome.
