Here we have a wonderful rare George III Elm and fruitwood Windsor armchair c1800. As you can see the chair has great colour and patina. There is a well shaped top rail and beautiful central rear splat. There is a hooped arm rail and spindle supports all in delicious fruitwood which is probably cherry. There is a thick solid Elm saddle seat with through joints from the legs. The underneath has well turned legs joined by an H sttretcher.
