A superb George IV period mahogany bergère armchair, C.1830.
 
With generous and elegant proportions, finely carved hand grips and underarm supports and paper scroll crest rail.
 
Raised on turned tapering reeded forelegs, terminating in original Cope Collinson brass caps and castors.
 
Traditionally upholstered with a drop in seat, now awaiting its top cover, structurally sound.
