Captivating French Art Deco Sunburst Mirror

1900 - 1920
Description

With a long tradition that dates back to the 17th Century Sunburst mirrors captivate and just seem to radiate happiness - here is a lovely French example that would fit just about any space. Hand sawn and modelled, it dates from the first third of the 20th Century. There is some wear and repair with blind spots on the the mirror glass.

Size 41 x 41 cm at the widest points, the diameter of the mirror glass is 14 cm.
