A pair of regency period rosewood 'drawing room' chairs, attributed to Gillows. C1820

With turned reeded tapering forelegs and sabre rear legs.

Traditionally upholstered seats with striped burgundy cotton fabric.

Crisply carved and turned from the highest quality solid rosewood. Structurally sound with sympathetic repair to crest rail.
