Regency Bergère Armchair

An exceptional regency period mahogany bergère armchair, in the manner of William Trotter. C.1820
 
Featuring a sharp, reeded frame adorned with pateras, a delicately carved top crest rail, all supported by turned reeded forelegs and sabre rear legs. Raised on original ‘BB & CO’ brass castors.
 
Complete with traditionally upholstered squab cushions, in green leather. Stamped ‘BP’ numerous times to the underside of the seat rail.
 
period caning is in fine tight order, structurally very good.
