Description

A fine quality set of 12 Regency period mahogany dining chairs consisting of a complete set of 10 plus two closely matching chairs of the same age. The generous and comfortable back rests above plain splats and upholstered seats which are supported on reeded sabre legs.In good 'Country Houise cndition' with tight joints and only the very minimal amount of historic restoration. No major breaks or repairs and good usable upholstery. The fabric is not worn or faded or torn or sagging. There are however one or two minor small marks as would be expecte, but are hardly noticable.

The two matching chairs have a very slight varation of design but are closely maatched and could well have come from the same workshop. They are also slightly bigger - 88.5cms high by 47.5cms wide by 49cms deep with seat heights of 47cms.
