A George IV period mahogany bergère armchair, attributable to Gillows, C.1830.
With generous and elegant proportions providing supreme comfort, crisply carved hand grips, paper scroll crest rail and lapet forelegs. Raised on original brass caps and casters.
Traditionally upholstered in a green geometric fabric, with a fitted feather down cushion.
Stamped ‘AR’ to the underside of the seat rail.
