Heals Edwardian Antique Oak Armchair with Label
A very good quality English antique oak reclining armchair by Heals of London around 1915, made in timbers taken from the decommissioned H.M.S. Britannia. a cadet training ship that was in service from 1865-1905. Superb quality, all pegged construction and with oak decorative finials to the reclining back rest. In very good condition, in the original finish and complete with the original fabric covered back and seat cushions. An ample and comfortable Heals armchair that has a brass plaque with details regarding the timbers.
