Lambing Chair

Here we have an untouched Lancashire lambing chair in pine with its original scumbled paint finish, now worn away on the seating area and back leaving a mellow yellow ochre colour. These chairs were made for shepherds so they could stay with there flock in comfort overnight . This one is typical of the Lancashire type on rockers and in remarkable condition for the use it''s had in a hard life.
