A J O'Sullivan Antiques has dated this piece to the Regency era.
The motifs became fashionable again in the Regency period and were used in places such as Brighton Pavilion. Composition is a mixture of mainly chalk and glue which is moulded and fixed to a pine frame.

Most of the gilding original, some good quality replacements to the mouldings, particularly the top left corner and the bottom left corner (see photo). The mirrors original with foxing, particularly to the main plate.The back boards are replacement. Circa 1820
