Description

Antique Victorian Pair Mahogany Shield Back Hall Chairs and dating from around 1880. Constructed from solid mahogany they have a shaped and moulded top rail with carved cartouche above a central back rest with moulded roundal above a carved frieze and with scrolled supports. They have a solid mahogany seat and are raised on shaped cabriole legs on a carved foot.

EACH MEASURES: 36.5” HIGH X 16.5” DEEP X 17.5” WIDE & SEAT HEIGHT 17.5”

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
