A Gorgeous Original Georgian Fireside Armchair surviving from c1760.
Standing on original Cuban Mahogany supports with shell motif to the out swept knee and terminating in a nice curved leg to Hairy Paw Foot. Sabre out swept legs to the back.
Mahogany Framed throughout the wings and short elbow rests over a fixed seat.
The springing all seems fine and the chair although worn has no visible rips to the upholstery , the chair is perfectly functional as is or could be upholstered to your own taste.
Minor loss to one front knee moulding.
Upholstered in a worn Beige Fabric which is in good clean but used condition with 100 years of genuine wear.
Also having The Horse & Coconut Hair stuffing.
