This ingeniously designed mahogany campaign mirror dates to 1900. Originally taken on military campaigns and used in the field, it is still a useful thing today as well as being a piece for the militaria collector. The bevelled mirror plate is secure although some beading missing. The plate does show signs of wear as would be expected. The stand can be propped up or hung up and the mirror folded away when not in use. As with all campaign furniture the design has been thoroughly thought through.
