Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

A regulator wall clock is a precision weight-driven pendulum timepiece originally engineered in the eighteenth century to provide exact time measurement for setting other horological instruments.

These timepieces typically feature cases crafted from woods such as walnut, mahogany, or rosewood, housing brass movement gears, brass weights, a brass pendulum bob, and a glass front panel.

Authentic examples demonstrate hand-cut brass gear trains, genuine enamel or painted dials with Roman numerals, traditional cabinet-making joins, and natural age-related patina on the metalwork and timber.

Hang the clock as a central architectural feature in a hallway, study, or living space where its vertical alignment balances straight interior lines and traditional timber furnishings.

Keep the timber case dusted using a dry microfibre cloth, avoid exposure to dampness or direct heat sources, and ensure the mechanical movement is professionally cleaned and oiled every few years.
