An Antique Ebony and Ivory Table Cabinet, Late 17th Century North Italian

Description

This precious table cabinet opens with a lid and has nine drawers richly decorated with ivory and ebony marquetry depicting foliage and scrolls, each drawer has an ivory pull button. The top of the lid has a similar design of ivory foliage on ebony background.

The entire exterior of the cabinet is in ebony and ivory with the top forming a geometric decoration consisting of rectangles and squares.

The Cabinet was made in Northern Italy during The i17th century,

This is in Very good un restored condition with no damage to report.

This is a large example Dimensions: Height: 19 in (48.26 cm )Width: 19.5 in (49.53 cm) Depth: 10.5 in (26.67 cm)
