Large antique French gilt Louis XV mirror in excellent original condition.

It dates from around 1880.

It has its elegant real gilt (gold leaf) on gesso egg and dart frame with a beautiful shell and laurel crest, curved shoulders and side scrolls.

It has its stunning original heavy glass with no scratches.

It has all its original backboards.

Perfect overmantel or it is plenty tall enough to be a freestanding leaner mirror.
