A great example of a rare early Tea caddy dating to around c.1790. 

Made from a mixture of satinwood, sycamore, boxwood and amboyna wood all inlaid.  Single lid caddy with the original lock and working key.  Original brass handle on the lid.

Satinwood, boxwood, amboya, sycamore and brass 

Age;
