French Antique Company has dated this piece to the 1880s.
It dates from around 1880.

It has its original mercury glass with no scratches just lovely light foxing. Mercury glass is rare and gives a sparkle and reflection like no other!.
It has its original backboards.
It is so unusual to find a mirror of this size and with such ornate gilt detail in this condition.
There is one tiny ball missing on the left side of the frame and this will be restored before sale. There are no other chips.
