A scarce set of Four Scottish Mahogany Cockpen dining chairs by Muirhead Moffat & Co, Glasgow. C.1900
With signature curved saddle shaped seats and rounded out swept back legs, square beaded and chamfered forelegs united by circular conforming stretchers.
Stamped ''Muirhead Moffat & Company, Glasgow'' to the underside, with makers initials ''S.B.''
Pictured with the original George III armchair, available as a set of Five upon request.
Recently reupholstered in white calico, structurally very good.
