Description

Fabulous Chinese ebonised display cabinet in superb untouched condition. The cabinet separates into two sections for easy transportation to and around the home. Its top section has glazed front and sides to maximise the natural light entering. The display cabinet doors are at the side and retain the original etched brass plate with small shaped handle. Inside has 2 removeable glass shelves and a Chinese silk covered back which has seen better days but can be replaced. There are two small light fittings with bulbs however these will need rewired as the wire has been cut. This 19th century cabinet is covered in outstanding carvings of Chinese symbols and swirling clouds. Carvings of two fierce looking dragon heads top both display cabinets leading down to the body. Providing extra storage is a two door cupboard with beautifully carved panels and decorative brass hardware. Like all antiques there are some imperfections but these only add to the charm and character of this outstanding piece of history.
