ANTIQUE #SA992910

A Large George IV Mahogany Dressing Mirror Of Architectural Form, C.1830

Sold by: Jeckyll & Co

Great quality and thoughtfully designed.

I don''t know of a Gillows design that corresponds with this mirror, but it''s that type of quality. The screws hold the plate firmly in place at whatever angle you prefer, and the underside has wooden ''washers'' that can be tightened if the columns become loose.

Condition: The surface is faded overall, the plate has a few spots of tarnishing but is generally very good, with that lovely mercury sparkle when the light catches it in a certain way. The is a small superficial candle burn to the bottom left edge of the frame, as a gentle reminder that the mirror has been around for nearly 200 years.
