Description

Here we have a wonderful George III Windsor armchair c1800. As you can see the chair has fantastic colour and patina. The chair is very much in the style of Oliver Goldsmith. There is a beautiful shaped top rail with ears to the ends. There is a stick back both above and below the curved and well shaped arms. The arm support and spindle has through joints. There is an incredible shape top the seat making for a very comfortable chair. The legs are bulbous at the joints typical of Goldsmith design and are well turned and joined by an H stretcher.
