Large 19th century French gilt Louis Philippe mirror in excellent condition.
It dates from around 1850.
It has its wonderful original mercury glass. Mercury glass is increasingly hard to find and gives a reflection and sparkle like no other!
It has beautiful foxing in places.
It has all its original pine backboards (photos to follow).
It would have originally been used as an overmantel mirror above a fireplace so would look fantastic used for this purpose but would also work very well just hanging on a large wall or above a console table or as a freestanding leaner mirror.
