Antique French Solid Walnut Salon Armchair

1920 - 1940
Description

A beautiful and very well made antique French salon chair. This was made in France, it dates from around the 1930’s.

It’s of lovely quality, with a beautiful and elegant design. There is crisp carving throughout, this is a useful size and is very comfortable.

This chair could even be used as a desk chair, because of the height of the seat.

We have had the frame cleaned and polished, we have also had this re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. It is in great condition for its age, with just some minor wear remaining beneath the polish here and there.

Depth – 22 inches , 56 cm

Height – 36 inches , 92 cm

Seat height – 19 inches , 49 cm
