George III Mahogany Library Chair

Description

A superb George III Mahogany Armchair, with fine detail throughout, C.1760.

The carved and pierced armrests above an overstuffed serpentine shape seat, on blind fret carved forelegs and gracefully chamfered back legs. Upholstered in calico, awaiting top fabric.

Structurally very good, with tight frame and upholstery. For any further enquiries regarding upholstery services please get in touch.
