Stylish, well drawn and well made.Both these chairs have had several repairs, (see images), hence the price. The most structurally significant is the joint to one of the front left legs with a rather crude internal bracket repair, (now slightly loose) and an associated split. There are later internal brackets to all the corners of this chair which, although unrefined, are sound.The third chair, not shown (but images available) has a conspicuous and significant crack through the toprail adjacent to the leather upholstery, that would require re-gluing and filling.Despite the repairs, the pair would look fabulous as hall chairs or in a library setting.
