Antique Set Six Victorian Oak Bergere Back Dining Chairs C1880 Wdb6187/6.12

Description

Nice set of six antique victorian oak dining chairs and dating from aorund 1880. They have a shaped and scrolled top with ring turned side supports topped with finials and a split cane bergere back rest which is in very good condition on all six chairs. The seats would have original also had split cane but they have been recovered in a cheniel fabric in keeping with the period of the chair. They stand on turned legs joined by stretchers with a shaped frieze to the front.

In very good condition with a lovely colour, grain and patination to the oak oozing the charm and character of the country oak period.

Each chair measures: 42" high X seat height 17" X 19" deep X 16" wide
