This is a fine quality antique English Regency pair of dining chairs, constructed of top-quality mahogany, from the George IV period, circa 1825, which have been newly upholstered and French polished by hand, to a professional standard, in excellent original condition.
The seat frame is raised on ring turned front legs, with sabre legs to the rear. This Regency pair of dining chairs boasts the original polish; therefore, they have a fantastic depth of colour and patination, displaying a lovely rich red and brown colour. The seats have been newly upholstered to a professional standard in pale grey herringbone structured wool & cotton upholstery. The upholstery is therefore clean and free from wear and marks.
