Stunning Venetian Antique Sunburst Mirror

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a beautiful antique Venetian glass sunburst mirror in excellent original condition dating from the early 20th century circa 1920. The mirror has a stunning design with alternating giltwood and mirrored rays projecting from the multi glazed triple border that surrounds the inner oval mirror plate. The mirror has a lovely antique colour to the gilding which is in excellent order and the many mirrored segments have a nice antique ageing to the glass. The central mirror plate is in nice clean condition and reflects well.

This is a most unusual and very decorative piece measuring 80 cms by 69 cms wide.
