Regency Wrought Iron Garden Armchair

Description

Rare Regency wrought iron garden armchair; a rare surviving unusual example; the reeded strapwork back of an interlaced diamond and scrollwork pattern, the swept arm support terminating in exaggerated scrolls, the slatted seat having a reeded front rail raised on straight legs united by stretchers and on pad shaped feet.

English circa 1820

Very good original condition, strong and sturdy with no breaks and historic layers of crusty paint
