A stylish Cockpen armchair by Whytock and Reid of Edinburgh, Scotland C.1920.
 
Classic shaped lattice back supported by turned top rail and uprights with armrests over shaped supports.
 
The broad curved seat upholstered in floral concave needlework, above elegant out swept front legs, intersected by turned stretchers.
