A 19th Century painted Beechwood side chair, in wonderful medieval gothic form.
The top rail fretted with a row of quatrefoils above an arcaded back of pierced medieval Gothic arches, enhanced with painted banding.
The uprights surmounted by turned finials, leading down to caned seat above ring turned legs with outswept feet and peripheral stretchers.
With traces of old treated woodworm, however standing true and structurally very good.
