A handsome 19th Century George III style armchair, in Chippendale taste. Elaborately carved back rest, arms and legs expressing wonderful scallop shell and flower bell motifs.
The sprung over stuffed seat is upholstered in a suiting Irish green wool with detailed trim, with old sympathetic repair to foreleg, however structurally very good.
