Leeds Antiques has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
The seat has recently been re-upholstered, in traditional method, using much of the original upholstery, and the old fabric. Which though probably not original to the chair is at least from the C19th.

A handsome and quality chair, with some minor flaws, but in good original condition and ready for use.
Dimensions:
This chair measures approximately 95.5 cm (37.5") tall, 54.5 cm (21.5") wide, and 49.5 cm (19.5") deep. The seat height is approximately 46 cm (18").

Condition:
Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This chair is in a good condition commensurate with its age. Some odd minor marks and blemishes. A couple of small, old, good quality repairs. The seat has been re-upholstered in the traditional method, and much of the upholstery and fabric re-used. Good colour, polish and patina. Very serviceable and ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
