Georgian Chippendale Mahogany Set of 4 Dining Chairs (George Iii)

A Georgian period, in chippendale taste, set of four, mahogany, dining chairs, Circa 1790. These chairs constructed in quality, heavy mahogany, feature a yoke top rail, pierced carved back splat. Drop-in seats recently reupholstered in the traditional manner, covered in silver and grey damask. Moulded front legs, with splayed rear legs, supported by H-strecters.

Good quality period chairs, in very good condition and ready to use.

Dimensions:

These chairs measure approximately 98 cm (38.75") tall, 53 cm (21") wide, and 51 cm (20") deep. The seat height is approximately 48.5 cm (19").

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - These chairs are in a very good condition commensurate with their age, and are structurally sound and sturdy. There are some minor age related marks and blemishes on the frames. No loose joints. One chair has a small high quality repair to the rear of part of one foot. Another chair with a small age related natural spilt to part of the splat. Recently reupholstered, in traditional manner. Ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.

Returns

A 30-day return period is offered for peace of mind. Items must be returned in the same condition as supplied. Return transport costs are the responsibility of the buyer, and original delivery charges are non-refundable. Responsibility for the item remains with the buyer until it has been safely received back.
