The Art Deco office chair has been newly upholstered in a top grain brown leather hide, finished with bass studs to the outside frame. French polished, to a professional standard in our workshop, the colour and patination is of an excellent standard. The Art Deco office chair incorporates its original mechanism, which rotates 360 degrees; the seat height can also be adjusted by turning a ribbed metal “bell” shaped vertical screw on the front of the underside of the chair. The mechanism also features a reclining action, the tension of which can be adjusted by turning a small wheel at the front of the mechanism. The chair mechanism is original and it has been stripped, cleaned and serviced, therefore it is in good working original condition. The chair sits on four splayed solid legs that terminate on new vintage style “ball” castors. The Art Deco office chair is sturdy and the item is extremely comfortable.
