FB Antiques has dated this Victorian Ebonised Bracket Clock to the Victorian era.
The clock face is signed Barraud & Lund, London 5725. The clock facer is flanked by two gilt caryatids. The clock also retains its original gilded side frets The clock runs on a chain driven triple fusee movement with 8 bells, enclosed by a double locking door. The clock comes complete with its original winding key and is in full working order.

Barraud & Lunds:
The company was founded by the eminent chronometer maker Paul Philip Barraud at Cornhill, London C.1795. They changed their name to Barraud & Lunds in 1838 when John Richard Lund became a partner, and the company finally closed in 1929. During their time, they were celebrated makers for their high-quality chronometers, pocket watches and clocks.
