Stunning antique French gilt Empire mirror in superb condition.

It dates from around 1830.

It has its beautiful original real gilt (gold leaf) on gesso frame with lovely floral gesso detail and no chips.

It has its stunning mercury glass with no scratches and lovely light foxing that does not impair the reflection. Mercury glass is difficult to find and has a magnificent sparkle like no other.

It has all its original backboards.

This mirror would make the perfect dressing room or bedroom mirror either leaning against a wall or hanging. It would also work well in a hallway.
