Beautiful antique French gilt and bare gesso mirror in perfect condition.

It dates from around 1870.

It has its original stunning real gilt (gold leaf) and gesso frame with gorgeous ornate floral detail and a large gesso crest with no chips at all.

It has its original heavy mercury glass with absolutely no foxing or scratches. Mercury glass is almost impossible to find in this condition and gives a sparkle and reflection like no other.

It has its original pine backboards.
