Incredible 19th century French gilt leaner mirror in superb condition.

It dates from around 1860.

It has its wonderful, original real gilt (gold leaf) on gesso frame with no chips and in a very subtile leaf design and its beautifully curved top.

It has its original mercury glass in fantastic condition with no scratches. Mercury glass is so hard to find these days and gives a sparkle and reflection like no other!

It has all its original backboards (photo to follow).

It would make a stunning leaner mirror in a lounge, hall or dressing room or could also used as an overmantel mirror above a large fireplace.
