Large Brass French Art Nouveau Period Horizontal Overmantle Wall Mirror with Bevelled Edged Glass

c. 1905

Measurements approx: 62cm x 43cm

Condition: The frame is in good order with no dents. All the pin nails that secure the brass in place are present and secure. The brass is largely unpolished. It has just had a very light clean and buff, so there is a light patina. The glass is in good order with no chips or clouding. There is an age spot to the top right area and around it, there is a small cluster of scratches (see close-up photo). Also, a few little pale grey age spots in the glass silvering and a few light scratches. A replacement back, chain and fixings have been added somewhat recently and all aspects are sound and secure
