A lovely Late Georgian antique Irish famine chair, stick back design in ash wood with a thick sycamore seat, all a pale colour. In excellent strong condition, scrubbed finish and standing on splayed ash legs. Known as a Famine chair, a sculptural primitive model that dates to around 1810.
