An Unusual Scottish George III Elm Side Chair, Late 18th Century

This model, specifically the multiple rails and particularly slender tapered legs, are similar to a set of three balloon-shaped dining chairs formerly at Scone Palace, sold by Christie''s, ''Scone Palace and Blairquhan-Selected contens of Two Great Scottish Houses'', lot 324, 24th May 2007.
 
Height to the top of the seat: 45cm
 
Condition: Clean and original. Small historic repair to back stretcher, smidgeon of movement between back and seat. For re-upholstery.
