Cross Antiques has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
The good quality 8 day 5 pillar movement has a brass dial with silvered chapter ring and gilt spandrels. It has a subsidiary seconds dial and an unusual date dial to the arch.

The case is in good condition but has the expected signes of age and use and has had the odd historic repair. There is a veneer chip to the base. It has working locks and keys to both the trunk and hood doors.
The movement is a bit dusty but in good working order and keeping good time.
Free local delivery and setup (60mls), national and international delivery arranged at cost.
