A quite stunning thirty hour longcase clock by Johnathon Lee of Bury. The square brass dial has wonderful etched decoration with cast brass spandrels to the four corners. With the dial is a date aperture and the clock has been serviced and is ticking along nicely. For a country oak cased clock, it has exceptional inlaid chevron inlays throughout with starbursts to the door and box base. The four pillar hood has the most marvellous domed top with a fantastic fretwork panel. The case is in very good condition with an excellent patina and warm colour.
