Set of Four Regency Mahogany Dining Chairs C.1830

19th century
Description

Quality set of four Regency mahogany dining chairs c.1830. Broad curving backrests on gracefully shaped rear stiles with particularly well carved stretchers below. Loose seat pads with a vintage red faux leather upholstery. Moulded rails below the seat. Raised on fine turned, reeded and tapering front legs in the manner of Gillows. With a makers stamp for T&A Blain Liverpool on the front rails below the seats. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops with clean and serviceable covers.
