A fine and rare 18th Century Oak Corner Chair of superb construction, having wonderful colour and condition.
Clearly made by a master Chair maker who set out to make a superior corner chair and in our opinion succeeded in both design and execution. You only need to look at the way the feet are swept outwards at the bottom to see the thought that has gone into the making of this piece. The shaping to the three splats, finely carved scrolls to the top rail, nicely shaped arms and the angles employed make this chair a special piece of 18th Century English Oak Furniture. Circa 1760
