This Fine Quality early 20th Century Quality Edwardian Mahogany Antique Desk Chair / Carver Chair / Side Chair dates from ca. 1900 and is in the Hepplewhite design. It has a beautifully curved back with fine carvings and two elegant out-swept arms. This beautiful antique chair stands on splayed back legs, has tapering turned reeded front legs and the upholstery has a matching braid trim. The Mahogany is a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
